Hi Mr Holtquist,

I've successfully installed your Rose FTP server on a FEZ Cobra board that has a RedPine Wifi module and can use a Filezilla FTP Client on a Windows XP machine to transfer files wirelessly.

However, when i switch from using a Windows based Filezilla FTP client to my android smartphone running any FTP Client (ex: FTPCafe), the client always fail connecting after the message: "Accepted a connection from 192.168.137.39:48000"

i am running a local network in the 192.168.137.xx range with a router that sets IP addresses dynamically in the RedPine module, the computer running Filezilla, and my smartphone.

One thing i've noticed also is that the PC running Filezilla connect using ports close to the 1000 range , but my smartphone tries to connect using high range port addresses (48000-54000). Maybe that's a clue? Maybe the router is not translating addresses properly?

Did you manage to connect to one of your uFTPserver or RoseFTPServer using a smartphone running an FTP Client?

Would a Passive Mode feature in RoseFTP Server code solve this problem?
Thanks for your input on this,
Jean-Francois.

The Rose server was never finished, just something I gave out to you to address an issue you were having.

You might try throwing it over to debug mode and putting in a break point.

Once I get a break from other projects I will install your example FTP server on my Android tablet and see if I can't address your issue.

If you find a fix, please do share for everyone else. Smiley
